Arapuá is a Brazilian municipality located in the northwest of the state of Minas Gerais.Its population as of 2007 was 2,699 people living in a total area of 172 km². The city belongs to the mesoregion of Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaiba and to the microregion of Patos de Minas.It became a municipality in 1962.
